Dennery Infant School Grade Two Farewell Ceremony

By SNN staff

On Wednesday 5th July, 2017, Dennery Infant School Grade Two Farewell Ceremony was well received.

Ms Mary Flavien, principal of the Dennery Infant School noted, that the original plan were to get 52 students, but 48 showed up. The student of the year must meet two criteria, one, the child must be the top performer, and must be participating in most of the school’s activities. The top performer, though she missed quite a few days, she still edged the others.

According to the principal that more students met the minimum standard this year and that she was very proud of them having the basic skills to carry them to the primary school and to perform well. These students from the time they came in kindergarten, the interest was there, they were always performing.

The school issued certificates every year in language, arts, and mathematics for all those who gets 85% and above, and almost half would get their certificate, they moved through their grades and only a few would fall short of it, so she is confident in the teacher’s performance which gave to them that boost to do their out most.

Ava Charles awarded for student of the year, and these students are the last to be graduated in this present facility while the teachers are looking forward for a bigger and better facility.
