One dead and two injured in the Gros Islet shooting

A male is dead and two others injured as a result of a shooting incident at about 6:50 a.m. in Gros Islet, on Wednesday Morning, August 1st, 2018 according to sources.
The two persons injured were fired at by a shooter who discharged a firearm in the crowd and fled the scene as the source reported.
The news reached our newsroom that police officers on the scene gave chase, and the shooter killed in an exchange of gunfire with the law enforcement officers.
