Homicide at Rosehill, Castries
Police attached to the Criminal Investigations Department received a report reference to a shooting at Rosehill, Castries about 4:30 p.m. on Thursday, January 26, 2017.
Peter Desir, a thirty four (34) year old resident of Pavee, Castries was found in a pickup van with an apparent gunshot injury to the head. He was later pronounced dead on the scene by a medical practitioner.
A post mortem is scheduled for today, Friday January, 27, 2017.
Investigations are continuing into this matter.
This is the tenth homicide for the year 2017.

Homicide at Sunbuilt, Castries
Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of a fifty two (52) year old resident of Sunbuilt, namely Peter Satney.
Police received a report reference to a shooting at Sunbuilt, Castries, about 6:00 a.m. on Friday, January 27, 2017. Peter Satney, who allegedly sustained three (3) gunshot wounds to the abdominal region, was conveyed to the Victoria Hospital, via ambulance, where he succumbed to his injuries.
He was pronounced dead about 6:45a.m. A post mortem is scheduled for today, Friday January 27, 2017.
Investigations are continuing into this matter.
This is the eleventh homicide for the year 2017.
