Prime Minister Allen M. Chastanet Congratulates US President-elect Donald Trump:
“On behalf of my Government and the People of Saint Lucia, I congratulate Mr. Donald Trump on being elected as the 45th President of the United States of America.
“We wish President-elect Trump success and look forward to working with this new administration and continuing to build on our longstanding friendship with the United States.
“Saint Lucians at home and abroad have been keenly following the US election for the past year. We hope that once Mr Trump takes office and puts his team in place we will receive more information on his plans for the future. We also hope that with this new administration we can further improve and deepen our relationship with the United States.”
