Registry of Companies and Intellectual Property remind the general public Annual Return is due for filing by 1st April 2022 to avoid penalty

By REGISTRY OF COMPANIES AND INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY ATTORNEY GENERAL’S CHAMBERS

The Registry of Companies and Intellectual Property wishes to remind the general public, and in particular, companies registered under the Companies Act, Chapter 13.01 of the Revised Laws of Saint Lucia (hereinafter referred to as “the Act”), that the 2021 Annual Return is due for filing by 1st April 2022.

Failure to file the return on time will attract a late fee of EC$10.00 for every month or part thereof pursuant to section 194(3) of the Act. The Registry urges all companies to comply with this obligation to avoid the penalities and being struck off the register in accordance with the Act.
