As usual, the SLP Government is trying their best to deflect from their incompetence and mismanagement of the inflation situation which is affecting every Saint Lucian, especially the poorest persons in our society.The fact remains that there was no policy in the $1.8 Billion Budget to make everyday inputs such as gas, diesel, electricity, cooking gas and food cheaper for you.Can you believe that the Government increased the price of kerosene from $10.57 to $14.03 per gallon. An increase of $3.46 per gallon. In Opposition, they branded kerosene as “poor people’s fuel”. I guess the poor no longer use kerosene. What a shame! You deserve better.
