St Jude Hospital Reopens Main West Wing Entrance

By St Jude Hospital

St. Jude Hospital reopens for use by patients and visitors the main West Wing entrance access – following temporary closure to undertake refurbishing work to replace the West Wing Canopy.

Patients and visitors may now access Emergency and Outpatient services and the Reception and Business offices through the hospital’s main West Wing Entrance from Thursday July 21, 2022.

“We’re very happy to open the access doors to the West Wing again,” notes Mrs. Liz Richard-Altifois, Officer-In-Charge at SJH. “Patient safety and maintaining a safe environment for staff is important to both Management and the Board of Directors of the hospital.”

The hospital’s main entrance was closed to ensure patient safety and allow for additional
renovations to the reception and security areas to enhance occupational health and safety for staff.

St. Jude Hospital thanks its staff and the public for their continued patience and cooperation during the refurbishing of the west wing; your adherence to safety measures and protocols put in place, is not overlooked.

The hospital continues to work in close partnership with the Ministry of Health, Wellness and Elderly Affairs for the benefit of the people whom we serve and to be your Health Care Provider of Excellence.
