Male individual was allegedly physically assaulted on Old Victoria Road in Castries

Officers at the Fire Service Headquarters responded to a distress call on Sunday 2 October at approximately 1:40 a.m. for an individual who was allegedly physically assaulted on Old Victoria Road in Castries.
Emergency personnel found an individual lying face down on the ground complaining of body pain. He was immediately transferred to the ambulance where a rapid assessment revealed that he sustained severe wounds to his arms and legs. His wounds were bandaged and he was provided rapid emergency transportation to the OKEU hospital for further medical treatment. The patient remained in a stable condition en route to the medical facility.
