The Landings Resort and Spa switched into festive gear for the Christmas season when they switched on the lights to their colourful Christmas trees on the evening of Monday, December 12.
General Manager, Paul Collymore, offered brief opening at the ceremony, as he wished guests and staff the best of the Christmas season. He also pledged The Landings’ continued efforts to make the guests’ stay a comfortable and memorable one.
Following the symbolic switching on of the lights to the cluster of trees of various heights in the foyer, the Monchy School Band performed several Christmas songs, many of them local, to which some guests and staff danced. Many of them captured selfies in front of the Christmas trees which give the feeling of a winter forest with reindeer, gnomes and Santa Clauses nestled within the trees.
Some local artisans also showcased their goods for sale during the event that The Landings hosts annually.
