SLFS Update – Multiple vehicle collision at Cul de Sac

On Saturday January 21 personnel at the Fire Service Headquarters, assisted by officers at the Gros Islet and Babonneau Fire Stations, responded to a multiple vehicle collision at Cul de Sac, Castries at approximately 4:40 p.m.

With a prompt response, the officers discovered 8 persons on the scene who were involved in the incident. The patients sustained various injuries and were treated by ambulance personnel. However, two individuals declined transportation to the medical facility and subsequently signed release forms.  The remaining six persons were stabilized and transferred to the awaiting emergency response vehicles. Rapid emergency transportation was provided to the OKEU Hospital. The patients remained in a stable condition en route and were handed over to medical personnel for further treatment.
