The votes are in for the GIMIES. Top 3 finalists in the CIP People’s Choice!

The Saint Lucia Tourism Awards – The GIMIES, hits another milestone this week with the announcement of the CIP’s People’s Choice Award. Ten nominees from various tourism related roles underwent an intense public online voting process, in pursuit of the coveted title.
According to the Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Tourism, Investment Creative Industries, Culture and Information, Ms Donalyn Vittet,
‘This was one of the awards we were looking forward to the most. We recognize the importance of having the public as part of the decision-making process, and the CIP People’s Choice award did just that.”
After several weeks of voting and verifying the results, the following candidates emerged in the top three:
Cressida Romany, Tour Operator at Unique Transfers
Lex Joseph, Bartender at Harbor Club
Tristan Theodore, Manager at La Mesa
The winner will be announced on The GIMIES on April 26th 2023 at the awards ceremony being held at the Royalton Resort.
