Sitting of the Senate scheduled for Thursday

A Sitting of the House of Assembly is scheduled for Wednesday, July 19, 2023.

The Motion for consideration is as follows: BE IT RESOLVED that Parliament by affirmative resolution approves the Value Added Tax (Alteration of Rate of Penalty) Order which alters, from the 1st day of May, 2023 to the 1st day of May, 2024, the rate of penalty to zero per cent on the tax paid up to the financial year of 2021.

The following Bills are down for consideration: 1. United Nations Sanctions (Counter-Proliferation Financing) (Amendment) 2. Proceeds of Crime (Amendment) 3. Income Tax (Amendment) Wednesday’s Sitting is scheduled to commence at 10 a.m.

The Sitting of the Senate is scheduled for Thursday, July 20th, 2023 at 10 a.m.
