Putting People First – Legislated relief for Saint Lucia’s small contractors!

The Income Tax (Amendment) (No. 2) Act, 2023 is now law. As of August 16, 2023, government contracts valued at XCD 10,000 or less will not get taxed.

This means the 10% withholding tax charge on government contracts valued at XCD 10,000 or less has been eliminated.
Small contractors will have additional revenue and increased profitability from government contracts to reinvest, hire and grow their businesses.
