TROPICAL WEATHER OUTLOOK

Moisture and instability over the region, will cause occasional cloudiness, showers and possible isolated thunderstorms mainly over the central and southern portions of the Lesser Antilles, during the next 24 hours.

At 5:00 am today, Tropical Depression Gordon was located near latitude 19.2 north, longitude 47.5 west. The depression is moving towards the west near 8 mph or 13 km/h and has maximum sustained winds near 30 mph or 45 km/h, with higher gusts. This system is forecast to slow down considerably during the next few days, and poses no threat to our region at this time.

A tropical wave located over the far eastern Tropical Atlantic, is moving westward bear 8 mph or 13 km/h.
