TROPICAL WEATHER OUTLOOK

The Atlantic High-Pressure System will maintain moderate to brisk easterly winds, leading to locally rough seas across the Eastern Caribbean over the next few days. Low-level clouds drifting along the wind flow, will cause some scattered showers mostly over the southern half of the region.

A tropical wave, currently located a few hundred miles east of the Windward Islands, will bring occasional cloudiness with light to moderate showers to the southern portion of the region from late tonight into tomorrow.

A second tropical wave over the central Tropical Atlantic is moving westward at approximately 15 mph (24 km/h) and is expected to begin affecting the region from Saturday, increasing chances for showers and possibly isolated thunderstorms.

Tropical cyclone formation is not expected over the Tropical Atlantic during the next seven (7) days.
