3 dead and multiple hospitalized some of which critical in Bexon

Police are investigating a fatal accident which occurred in Bexon just after the Odsan junction on Friday afternoon at about 4:30 pm.

According to reports, a white panel van and a Castries to Vieux Fort minibus collided. The minibus was fully loaded heading to Vieux Fort.

Three individuals including the minibus driver succumbed to their injuries.

The deceased minibus driver is identified as Roger.

The emergency officials were seen cutting the minibus in other to remove the passengers.

Twelve people were transported to the 'OKEU hospital. Some of them are in critical condition.

Several videos were posted on social media showing the accident scene.
