Advancing Safety: RSLPF Hosts a Strategic Forum

On Tuesday, April 30, 2024, the Commissioner of Police, Crusita Descartes-Pelius and the Executive of the Royal Saint Lucia Police Force (RSLPF) convened a Gazetted Officers meeting at the Police Training Academy in La Toc, Castries.
The areas for discussion included the current crime situation and developing Strategic Work Plans to enhance existing approaches. The Commissioner led discussions to evaluate the effectiveness of current methods in tackling identified crime trends.
Additionally, the meeting served as a platform to discuss upcoming national events, including the Saint Lucia Jazz and Arts Festival, ICC Cricket World Cup, and Saint Lucia Carnival.
Proactive practices will continue to be employed, ensuring that citizens could revel in these festivities without fear, due to RSLPF measures.
By fostering collaboration among department heads and station leaders, the RSLPF charted a practical path forward for the organization, emphasizing community safety and unity.
