Police Ignores Reports of Domestic Abuse

SNN - Police ignores reports of domestic abuse made by young and vulnerable mother.

In an attempt to receive urgent help from the necessary authorities, a young and helpless mother of five contacted the staff of SNN to share her unfortunate circumstances of domestic abuse.

The young mother briefly explains in her message that the father of her child threatens to kill her in her sleep and also abuses her and her children. She states that he puts his hand in her vagina as a method of testing if she has been sexually active with other men every time she returns home from an errand.

She also needs help with contacting the necessary authorities to help her in her desperate situation as her previous efforts with Babonneau police were unsuccessful.

In her message, the mother wrote:

"My child FATHER promise to kill me in my sleep,    I don't have anywhere to go I really don't know how to get in touch with government                      my mom GAVE ME LAND I DONT HAVE NO SUPPORT TO build I AM IN MY TWENTYS I HAVE 5 KIDS HE ALSO ABUSE MY KIDS. Every single day I come from out or in town he have to put his hand in cunt to see if I come home from take man. I feel very scared by him.  I don't have no where to go they turn they are over after my father die turn they back on me"

When asked if she contacted the police, she responded :

" Police don't do anything for me                              I am tired going to them an making report also they don't do anything at all. I am so sick and tired of them"
