Gun violence continues in St Lucia. Gunmen opened fire on two police officers killing one on the spot on Saturday evening in Bocage.

Reports indicate that the off duty officers were ambushed while escorting a businessman to his home after doing cash transfer.

Officer Nathan Timaitre died on the spot while officer King is in critical condition at OKEU hospital. He was shot in the neck and face.
