The Cultural Development Foundation (CDF) in collaboration with its partners aim to make the 2024 Art and the City event a true spectacle.
Chairman of the CDF, Mr. Darwin Guard, has emphasized the profound significance of the festival in preserving and promoting Saint Lucia's cultural heritage. He underscored the pivotal role played by the CDF in amplifying the festival's art component, ensuring that it remains deeply rooted in the island's identity.
The Hon. Dr. Ernest Hilaire, Minister for Tourism, Investment, Creative Industries, Culture, and Information, pinpointed that the event serves as a platform to enhance the visibility of creatives and foster their network expansion.
Highlighted during the recently held launch of Arts and the City were collaborations with international artists like Matthew Whitaker.
Saint Lucia’s Art and the City aims to promote cultural exchange, support local talent, and attract global attention to Saint Lucia as a vibrant cultural destination.
