Chastanet - we are continuing to work on improving the environment for Saint Lucian entrepreneurs

Entrepreneurs are national assets which we should make every effort to support. Their drive and innovation help create employment and innovative products and services which our citizens can enjoy. It is for this very reason that we are continuing to work on improving the environment for Saint Lucian entrepreneurs.
Access to Financing for Entrepreneurs is being addressed via the Secure Transactions Legislation which will be accompanied by an Online Securities Registry. This will allow entrepreneurs to use moveable assets as collateral for loans. Also, a Business Incubator and Accelerator Programme is currently in the final stages of preparation and should be launched by the end of the year.
I would like to encourage as many entrepreneurs as possible to attend the 2019 Entrepreneurs Meetup which has been organized by Invest Saint Lucia this coming Monday, September 2nd 2019. This mixer will provide a great opportunity for entrepreneurs to network and learn from the experiences of other businessmen and women. Please take advantage!
