Committee to open National Awards nomination period

THE OFFICIAL ANNOUNCEMENT WILL BE MADE AT AN OCT. 7 MEDIA LAUNCH.

The National Awards Committee will officially announce the opening of the nomination period for the Order of Saint Lucia / National Awards during a live media launch scheduled for October 7, 2022. The Order of Saint Lucia Award is conferred on distinguished Saint Lucians who have made indelible contributions to community and national development.

The committee is inviting the public to participate in the nomination process by seeking out and identifying Saint Lucians who have positively impacted and influenced lives and have excelled in their civic endeavours.

At the upcoming media launch, members of the National Awards Committee, chaired by Mauricia Thomas-Francis, will participate in a panel discussion and a question-and-answer session with media personnel. The launch event will be broadcast live on NTN (channel 122) and other participating media partners from 10 a.m. on Oct. 7.
