Covid-19: the new travel rules from and to Martinique since April 1, 2022

Since Friday April 1, 2022, the curfew has been lifted in Martinique. It was decreed on July 13, 2021, due to a critical health situation.
As a result, travel conditions to and from Martinique have evolved. To leave the island for another national territory, a sworn statement is required .
For passengers bound for France
Any passenger aged 12 or over, if not vaccinated , must justify that his trip is based on a compelling personal or family reason, an emergency health reason or a professional reason that cannot be deferred. In addition, he undertakes to:
- Present the negative result of a biological virological screening test (RT-PCR) less than 72 hours or of an antigenic test allowing the detection of the N protein of SARS-CoV-2 less than 48 hours before boarding.
- Accept that a screening test or examination can be carried out on arrival, 7 days after the 2nd injection for double injection vaccines (Pfizer, Moderna, Astra-Zeneca, Novavax), 4 weeks after the injection for vaccines with a single injection (Johnson & Johnson), 7 days after the injection (only one injection necessary) of a vaccine in people who have already had a history of Covid-19.
"Vaccinated passengers are not subject to these obligations" , specifies the prefecture.
For passengers coming from France
Similarly, any passenger aged 12 or over, if not vaccinated , is subject to the same rules as for anyone leaving the island. If the latter is vaccinated , he must present the negative result of a biological virological screening test (PCR test) of less than 72 hours or antigen allowing the detection of the N protein of SARS-CoV-2 carried out less than 48 hours before boarding.
Between the West Indies and Guyana
For passengers coming from and going to Guadeloupe, Saint-Martin, Saint-Barthélemy, Guyana: any passenger aged 12 or over, if not vaccinated , must justify that his trip is justified on an overriding personal or family reason, an emergency health reason or a professional reason that cannot be deferred. Again, vaccinated passengers are not subject to these obligations.
Passengers from and to abroad
Since June 9, 2021, the flow of travelers between France and foreign countries has been reopened "according to methods which vary according to the health situation of third countries and the vaccination of travelers".
Coming from Martinique and bound for a green country or an orange country
" Any passenger aged 12 or over, if he is not vaccinated , must justify that his trip is based on a compelling personal or family reason, an emergency health reason or a professional reason. cannot be postponed".

If this traveler is vaccinated, he must also present the negative result of a PCR or antigenic test of less than 72 hours carried out less than 48 hours before his departure.
Coming from a red country and bound for Martinique
If the person concerned is not vaccinated , it is the same constraint as before.In addition, she must "undertake to declare on honor her place of isolation". Coming from Martinique and bound for a red country, the trip must be justified by a compelling health, professional or family reason.
