DCA takes action against unauthorized activities Cabot on Cas en Bas beach

Over the weekend it was drawn to the attention of the Development Control Authority (DCA) that there was the use of heavy equipment on the Cas En Bas Beach.

Cabot management informed the DCA that the equipment was being used to clear the sargassum in that area. The DCA has instructed Cabot to cease and desist all operations on the beach.

The DCA wishes to reassure the public that it will exercise utmost vigilance in the management of the project and will continue the processing of Cabot’s applications in accordance with the laws of Saint Lucia particularly the Physical Planning and Development Act, Chapter 5.12.
