Dennery Youth & Sports Council elect new executive

The elections for the Dennery Youth & Sports Council took place on Thursday 3rd March on ZOOM.13 Candidates from the community threw their hats in the ring to contest various positions on the Executive. Each Candiate made their cases to the youth & sports clubs and the general public. An electronic ballot was used to submit the votes. An elections Committee was appointed to oversee the process. The representatives on this committee comprised of individuals from the Ministry of Youth Development & Sports, the outgoing President of the Youth & Sports Council, the Dennery South Constituency Council and the National Youth Council.
A total of Nine clubs particpated in the voting process with a representation of two voting delegates. These clubs are:

Piton Travel Young Stars
Hilltop Ballers Sports Club
SERIA Sports Club
Our Youth Empowered Youth Group
Dennery Youth Dance Group
On the Rock Strikers
18+ Sports Club
D.C.Y.O
White House.
