Do-Nation Foundation, Ministry of Health and Wellness Observe Wellness Day at Babonneau

by PRESS RELEASE

Non-profit organization, Do-Nation Foundation, collaborated with the Ministry of Wellness by participating in the Wellness Day programme held at Babonneau on Thursday, September 15, 2022. Do-Nation Foundation’s participation came as we recognize and support this initiative that is most times overlooked or misunderstood.

Do-Nation Foundation’s mandate is to serve the vulnerable in our society. Everything -- starting from our physical health to mental health -- is important. We believe that a person who is free from pain in both mind and body is considered healthy.

One may have a healthy body, but the mind is sick. On the other hand, one can have a sick mind and a healthy body. Hence the balance between the two is extremely important,” said Volunteer Officer, Ms. Deborah Alcindor.  We are part of a population and community and all have the responsibility towards making a healthy community.”

Do-Nation Foundation remains true to its mission of changing lives one person at a time. The items delivered to our vulnerable persons were made possible by Piton Malta, Saint Lucia/Toronto Creole Committee, Hardest Hard Restaurant, and Breadfruit Corner at Monchy.

Do-Nation Foundation plays a vital part in the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals as defined by the United Nations with which we continue to align ourselves. SDG 3 speaks to Good Health and Wellbeing, and we will endeavour to continue playing our part in achieving this goal.
