Dominica records its first COVID-19 death

Health Minister Dr. Irvin McIntyre has confirmed that Dominica has recorded its first Covid-19 death. He told the nation that a 46-year-old female with underlying pre-existing health conditions was admitted to the Covid isolating unit on August 14, 2021, and died on August 17, 2021.
He extended deepest condolences to the family of the deceased on behalf of the Government of Dominica. Voice of Dr. McIntyre.
