Double Homicide victims sustained penetrating wounds to their heads

On Saturday May 20, emergency personnel at the Fire Service Headquarters and Babonneau Fire Station responded to an alleged shooting incident at Sunny Acres in Castries at approximately 4:20 a.m.
The responding officers found a male individual seated in a vehicle appearing to be unconscious. A rapid assessment revealed several penetrating wounds to his head. He was immobilized on a spine board and transferred to the ambulance where emergency medical care was provided and the patient was transported to the OKEU hospital in a critical condition.
A female individual was also found in the vehicle with a penetrating wound to her head and other injuries to her body. She was also transferred to an awaiting ambulance where emergency medical care was provided en route to the OKEU Hospital, where she was pronounced dead by a medical practitioner.
