During Easter Holidays 890 Vehicles checked during traffic checks, 73 curfew breaches and many more

During the course of the Easter Holidays (April 02, 2021, to April 05, 2021), the following COVID-19 related breaches were recorded by Royal Saint Lucia Police Force:
- 73 curfew breaches with 7 individuals arrested as a result.
- 2 bar owners arrested for operational breaches (charges expected in both instances).
- 3 mass crowd gatherings (at beaches and rivers)
- 2 omnibus operators warned for exceeding the passenger limits.
- 1 individual cautioned for operating loud speakers
Additionally, other police operations were conducted islandwide resulting in:
- 12 Arrests
- 9 Search warrants executed
- 299 Persons searched
- 890 Vehicles checked during traffic checks
- 21 Vehicles impounded (including 14 motorcycles)
- 111 Tickets issued
- 58 Dangerous instruments seized
- 14 Rounds of ammunition recovered
- 69 Warnings issued during traffic checks for various infractions
