Everything Leaving Netflix in June

[apss_share]

By PC Mag

The doom and gloom toward Netflix seems to increase daily. It's not a backlash (though Netflix has weathered those before... remember Qwikster?) as much as it is a dreadful mass worry by fans.

Take for instance the Forbes article entitled Netflix Has 175 Days Left To Pull Off A Miracle... Or It's All Over. If you guessed that Disney+ is launching at the end of that time frame, you probably get the thesis without reading the article. Disney content leaving Netflix is a disaster!

Or is it? Losing Marvel Cinematic Universe movies and Disney animated sequels could be a blow, but if that were the case why did Netflix cancel seemingly popular MCU-based TV shows like Daredevil and Punisher? It's almost sure to kill Marvel's Jessica Jones after the third season premieres on June 1 for the same reason: it doesn't want to be beholden to the Mouse House.

Only time will really tell if losing all that content, plus popular series like The Office and Friends to a potential NBC streaming service will have a negative impact. Will anyone even notice, what with all the new originals Netflix debuts on an almost daily basis?

What we notice, at this time every month, is what's going to go missing from the service. The list below does indeed include seven Disney titles, including one popular MCU-based flick. So pick what you want to fit in to your viewing schedule now, long before you have to pony up that extra $6.99 a month (or $69.99 per year) for D+ to watch them later. Here are our highlights for the best bits to view.
