Fatal Accident - 68 year old “Red man” died after his vehicle plunged into a precipice

On Sunday, April 13, 2025, about 4:20 pm, the Anse La Raye Police Station received a report of a vehicular accident at Vanard, Anse La Raye. The accident resulted in the death of one person.

Investigators proceeded to the scene, where they observed a motor vehicle which ran off the main road into a precipice. The accident involved one motor vehicle, with two (2) occupants, one (1) of whom sustained injuries during the incident. Personnel from the Saint Lucia Fire Service also responded. The injured persons were transported to Owen King European Hospital (OKEU).

There, one of the occupants, sixty-eight (68)-year-old Nigel Ronald Elibox alias “Red man” of Marc, Castries succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead by a medical practitioner.
