Fatal Accident near St Judes Hospital

Emergency personnel at the Vieux Fort Fire Station responded to a call on
Wednesday 9 December at approximately 7:40 a.m. The information
received stated that a light goods vehicle struck a pedestrian in Beanfield,
Vieux Fort.
The emergency crew found a male individual lying motionless on the
roadside covered with a white sheet. A medical doctor on the scene
informed the crew that the individual was pronounced dead.
The scene was then left in the care of the police.
