St Lucia  records first homicide - Father shot dead while son hospitalized with bullet wounds

Police are investigating a shooting incident in Faux-a-Chaux, Castries Monday evening at about 10 pm.

Dead is 52 year old Martin Joseph of Hospital Road while his son, 28-year-old Solomon Joseph hospitalized with bullet wounds.

Reports are that the victims were on their way back from a peacemaking  mission when a gunman opened fire on them.

Martin Joseph was a stevedore at the Castries port.

Several videos posted on social media showing on the victim in a pool of blood.
