Fire destroyed 2 houses in George Cooper Road

The St Lucia fire service responded to a fire which occurred early Saturday morning.

The fire officers battled the flames for six hours before bringing it under control and to prevent it from spreading to other buildings in the community.

They had to call the Babonneau fire station for backup.

Three people are left homeless.
