Fire in lower Clarke Street, Vieux Fort.

On Tuesday , a fire damaged an interior compartment and the roof of an abandoned building on lower Clarke Street, Vieux Fort.
At about 6:12 pm the Vieux Fort fire station responded with three fire appliances and an ambulance after receiving a distress call.
Firefighters said despite an initial challenge in accessing the area in the building where the fire was, they were able to contain the blaze to a storage container.
There were no reports of injuries.
