Fire Service report on Degazon deadly shooting

On the night of Saturday January 7, members of the Gros Islet Fire Station and Fire Service Headquarters were informed of an alleged shooting incident at Degazon in Grande Riviere, Gros Islet.

At approximately 10:30 p.m. a response was made with two ambulances to the scene. The responding crew found two individuals who were identified as the victims of the incident. One of the patients who sustained a penetrating injury to their arm, was transported in a stable condition to the OKEU Hospital. The other patient who had not vital signs present, sustained several penetrating wounds to their body. That individual was immediately provided rapid emergency care while being transported to the medical facility. The patient’s condition remained unchanged during transportation.
