Firearm, Ammunition and Controlled Drugs Recovered in Ciceron

On Tuesday April 30, 2024, the Royal Saint Lucia Force (R.S.L.P.F) continued its crime mitigating pursuits, with the recovery of another illegal firearm.
Police Operations conducted in the community of Ciceron, Castries, saw Police Officers execute a Warrant to Search for Property on the premises of forty-year-old (40) Junior Joseph and Thirty-seven (37) years Rufillia Agard both of Ciceron Castries. The operation resulted in the successful recovery of one (1) Taurus Pistol, Six (6) rounds of 9mm ammunition and a pistol magazine.

In addition to this discovery, a quantity of controlled drugs was also recovered. Junior Joseph and Rufillia Agard were arrested and subsequently charged for the following offences: Possession of Firearm, Possession of Ammunition, Possession of Controlled Drugs and Possession of Controlled Drugs with Intent to Supply to Another.
The pair are currently in police custody, waiting to be escorted to Magistrate’s Court, for bail purposes.
