Firefighters Contain Blaze at Two-Story Building in La Clery

Firefighters swiftly responded to a structural fire at a two-story concrete and wooden building in La Clery on Friday night.
According to reports, the Saint Lucia Fire Service (SLFS) received the distress call at 8:53 p.m. Upon arrival, thick smoke was seen billowing from the top floor, while flames were visible on the ground floor.
Firefighters acted quickly to contain and extinguish the blaze, ensuring that all occupants were safely accounted for. There were no reports of injuries.
The scene has since been turned over to the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) for further investigation into the cause of the fire.
