Five people hospitalized after motorcycle collided with motorcar Desruisseaux

Emergency officials from Vieux Fort, Micoud and Dennery fire stations responded to a accident in Desruisseaux on Sunday afternoon at about 5.00 pm.

Reports are that a motorcycle collided with a Toyota Corolla station wagon and as a result the car veered off the road with the motorcycle under it.

The car had four occupants and one of them had to be extricated while the motorcycle rider sustained multiple abrasions.

All the injured were rushed to St Judes Hospital for medical treatment.
