France to donate fifty (50) hospital beds, ten (10) cardiac monitors and two (2) ventilators

Press Release - France continues to provide assistance to the Government of Saint Lucia, in its fight against the spread of the deadly coronavirus.
A shipment of surgical masks, which is one of many donations from the French Government, arrived at Port Castries from Martinique on Wednesday 25th November 2020.
Over ten thousand surgical masks were handed over to the Department of External Affairs by the Regional Counsellor for Cooperation at the French Embassy, Mrs Christel OUTREMAN.
This donation is a testimony of the joint efforts of solidarity which has existed and continues to exist between France and Saint Lucia, even more so, in these trying times.
The masks will be given to government officials who are in direct contact with the public, in particular the members of the Royal Saint Lucia Police Force.
Another shipment of medical supplies, which consists of fifty (50) hospital beds, ten (10) cardiac monitors and two (2) ventilators, is due to arrive in Saint Lucia tomorrow Friday 27th November 2020 on a French Navy vessel.
