Government of Saint Lucia received a generous donation from Taiwan to go to community clean-ups, small development projects

The Republic of China (Taiwan) continues to demonstrate its commitment to enhancing the lives of Saint Lucians.
Today, the Government of Saint Lucia received a generous donation presented by His Excellency, Ambassador Chen which will go towards the Constituency Development Program (CDP). Let me state, this gift will be distributed to all seventeen constituencies.
Community clean-ups, beautification, and small development projects will be undertaken through CDP. Most importantly, it will assist in boosting household incomes, improving living conditions, and the general morale of our citizens as we continue to battle this pandemic.
We thank President Ing-Wen, Ambassador Chen, and the Government of the Republic of China, Taiwan for their long-standing generosity.
