Gros Islet fire station responded to a fire in the town

The Gros Islet fire station responded to a house fire which occured on Thursday morning at about 12:10 am.

When they arrived on the scene they found an occupied two-storey building on fire. This building used to be a Courts St Lucia outlet.

The fire officers extinguished the fire before it spread to near by houses.

The fire was in an upstairs room of the building.
