PRESS RELEASE - Gros Islet Lions Cheque Presentation to SLBWA Tuesday July 9, 2019

The Gros Islet Lions Club is a proactive supporter of the St. Lucia Blind Welfare Association, (SLBWA). For the past fifteen years, the Club’s financial contribution has been directed to the dynamic Kids Insight (KI) Programme.

The Kids Insight is an Ophthalmic Pediatric Programme of the SLBWA, Lions Clubs of St. Lucia and West Virginia University (WVU) to mitigate blinding eye conditions or diseases among children.

This year, the Gros Islet Lions Club decided to also support other important components of “Blindness Services” offered by the Saint Lucia Blind Welfare Association.
