Gros Islet to Cap Estate road rehabilitation

THE SECTION OF HIGHWAY FROM THE GROS ISLET TOWN ENTRANCE TO THE CAP ESTATE ENTRANCE WILL BE REPAIRED IN FEBRUARY.

The Department of Infrastructure, Ports, and Transport wishes to remind the public that the section of highway from the Gros Islet Town entrance to the Cap Estate entrance will be rehabilitated from the month of February.

Works include, but are not limited to drainage, sidewalk repairs and road resurfacing. The contractor is expected to undertake road works during the day and night in order expedite the completion of the project.

Motorists and pedestrians should expect delays and are urged to exercise caution and vigilance when traversing this section of the road during the construction period.

Signs and cones will be installed to guide all road users.
