Heavy showers, isolated thunderstorms expected to continue

FORECAST FOR SAINT LUCIA VALID FOR THE NEXT 24 HOURS
Winds will be blowing from the east near 23 mph or 37 km/h, with occasional gusts. Weather: Mostly cloudy skies with scattered showers, which may be heavy at times, and isolated thunderstorms. Residents and motorists in areas prone to flooding and landslides are advised to be vigilant and exercise extreme caution.

Tides for Castries Harbour: Low at 10:24 am... High at 4:45 pm Tides for Vieux Fort Bay: Low at 11:51 am... High at 5:52 pm Seas: Moderate to locally rough with waves 5 to 8 feet or 1.5 to 2.4 metres. Small craft operators and sea bathers are advised to exercise caution due to brisk winds and locally rough seas.
FORECAST FOR THE LESSER ANTILLES
Over the central and southern portions of the Lesser Antilles, cloudy to overcast skies with scattered showers which may be heavy in some locations and isolated thunderstorms. Elsewhere, fair to partly cloudy and hazy with a few showers.
TROPICAL WEATHER OUTLOOK
The Inter Tropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ), coupled with a tropical wave will continue to cause cloudy conditions with scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms across the central and southern portions of the Lesser Antilles, during the forecast period. A second tropical wave located over the central Tropical Atlantic is moving westward at about 14 mph or 22 km/h. This wave has a low chance for tropical cyclone formation during the next five days, as it moves west-north-westward A third tropical wave located over the eastern Tropical Atlantic is moving westward at about 14 mph or 22 km/h.
