Homicide at Bexon

Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of forty-two (42) year old, Hughland Collin Gassie of Ravine Poisson.
A report of stabbing at La Bayee, Bexon was referred to the Criminal Investigations Department in Castries, about 8:00 p.m. on Monday, May 14, 2018.
Hughland Collin Gassie allegedly sustained a stab wound to the chest. He was conveyed to the Victoria Hospital via ambulance where he later succumbed due to injuries sustained.
A post mortem examination is scheduled for a subsequent date. This is the ninth recorded homicide for the year 2018.
