Homicide in Garrand, Babonneau.

Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding a shooting at Garrand,
Babonneau. A report of a shooting was referred to the Babonneau Police Station about 6:15 p.m on Sunday June 4, 2023. Upon arrival on the scene Officers were informed that two (2) individuals were shot. A young female who sustained a gunshot wound was later transported to a medical facility via an ambulance. Chris Volney a nineteen (19) year old of Garrand, Babonneau who was known to the Police was pronounced dead on the scene by a medical practitioner.
