Immediate closure of Upper Church Street Soufriere

Press Release – The Ministry of Infrastructure Ports, Energy and Labour wishes to inform residents and the motoring public of the immediate closure of Upper Church Street Soufriere, to facilitate urgent replacement of a grille crossing.

As a result, the road will be impassable to vehicular traffic for two weeks, during which time drivers are encouraged to use alternative routes. 

Pedestrians are urged to obey all the Traffic Signs, which are posted for guidance and public safety.

The Ministry of Infrastructure, Ports, Energy and Labour apologises for any inconvenience this may cause and thanks residents and all road users for their patience and understanding.
