Individual  got struck by a vehicle in Roseau

A response was made from the Fire Service Headquarters to Roseau, Quarter of Anse la Raye for an individual who got struck by a vehicle on Saturday 7 January at approximately 8:30 p.m..

The responding crew found an individual who appeared to be in their mid-forties, lying on the roadside with apparent trauma to their body.

The individual, who was allegedly struck by a vehicle was fully immobilized on a back board and transferred to the awaiting ambulance.

Thereafter, the patient was provided rapid emergency transportation to the OKEU Hospital for further care.
