Individual who got struck by a vehicle John Compton Highway got trapped in some chains, appearing unconscious with severe head trauma

A response was made from the Fire Service Headquarters to the John Compton Highway, Castries, for an individual who got struck by a vehicle on Saturday December 10.

The victim was found lying face down on the ground trapped in some chains, appearing unconscious with severe head trauma.  The individual was removed and placed on a spine board for further assessment, which revealed that there were other severe injuries to the body.  The patient was provided rapid emergency transportation to the OKEU Hospital and was handed over to medical personnel in a critical state.
